We have just returned from a two and one-half week trip to Los Altos for the Holidays. We left on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 and returned on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. We celebrated Christmas with Jen, Dan and the grandchildren as also took in a side trip to Pasadena to see the Rose Parade and watch Ohio State defeat Oregon in the Rose Bowl.
As always, Christmas was once again very special. The kids get so excited with the Christmas preparations and the opening of the gifts. Forturnately, once again this year, Santa was able to find the Walker home thanks to the reindeer food left on the front lawn. Santa was very generous with his gifts. Belfey, Santa's elf, gave a good report to Santa and the kids were rewarded with the gifts they had wanted. Ellen and I are thankful that we can watch as we record these wonderful memories deep in our hearts and minds.
Ellen's brother Dick and his wife Marilyn came to San Francisco on Sunday, December 27, 2009. We all drove up to the city and met them on Fisherman's Whalf.
